whoami
Not to bother you with too much useless personal information, just a few notes on who am I, the person behind this site:
- I was born in May 1977, currently I’m working as a software- and systems engineer in Dresden, Germany.
- For more than four years now I’ve been in a long term relationship and really enjoying it (WO’AI NI, TINA! :**:)
- I’m into dark music (industrial, ebm, ambient/electronic stuff, noise and most sorts of metal), strange books (Neal Stephenson, William Gibson, Jeff Noon, P.K.Dick and a couple of others) and dense movies (”the ring”, “pi”, “new rose hotel”, “blade runner”, “slaugherhouse #5″, to name a few).
- In my spare time I’m doing strange things to digital images (as you might see on other pages of this site) and occassionally writing for the Medienkonverter webzine.
- I’m a GNU enthusiast, being a fellow of the FSF Europe and trying to convince people to use free-as-in-free-speech software on their computers whenever possible. ;)
- Politics is important to me; even though ‘isms’ usually tend to be evil, I’d consider myself being sort of pacifistic, I’m still searching for a political “movement” of some sort which is able to bring about new concepts and new ideas for a whole new age and society without being locked up in terms like “conservatives”, “socialists”, “left-wings” or whatever.
- I prefer red wine to beer and try being vegetarian as good as I can.
