gimp 2.6: re-armed and reloaded
Congratulations, folks: On October 01, 2008, gimp.org has announced the availability of release 2.6 of the “GNU Image Manipulation Program” aka Gimp”, coming with an interesting list of features including a couple of UI changes (eventually addressing certain complaints about Gimp usability being next to poor – which personally I never really understood so far… :>). Ubuntu 8.04 packages are available at meetthegimp.org, binaries for “that other platform” might be obtained at gimp-win.sourceforge.net. Time to get some tests done, I guess… 🙂
